The General Counsel Division at the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) seeks  an experienced litigator to serve in the Associate General Counsel (AGC) position. Reporting to the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel, the AGC will be responsible for supervising the GCD’s Regulatory, Affirmative and Licensing Litigation Unit, consisting of a team of lawyers who strategize, research, investigate and prosecute illegal and deceptive business practices by individual businesses and industries.

This individual will work closely with the Agency’s Licensing and Enforcement divisions.

DCWP is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Staff Counsel within the General Counsel Division, primarily focusing on drafting final agency decisions in response to recommended decisions from the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (“OATH”) for cases brought by DCWP. This position will also review, edit, and draft legislation affecting DCWP.
